My First Month Blogging

I’ve moved to, please check out my blog there instead!

I’ve been blogging for just over a month now and I have well and truly caught the blogging bug! I love writing, reading and researching blogs and I am completely and utterly in love with the blogging community! Everyone is so so nice and I feel like I’ve become nicer because of them! Beforehand, if I saw someone upset on Twitter I’d just leave it but now I genuinely want to make them feel better.

Love Blogging

I’ve tried starting a blog before, before taking it down one post later, embarrassed and worried noone would ever care what I have to say. I am so annoyed with myself now! If I’d stopped worrying about what others thought, I’d have realised so much earlier how much I enjoy blogging! BUT I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, so although I kind of want to kick myself for not pushing myself through my worries, I think I was meant to start my blog when I did. To remind myself of this, and all of you who want to start a blog but are scared to, here is all the good things that have happened to me because of blogging, in only 33 days!

Weight Loss Wednesdays #2

I’ve moved to, please check out my blog there instead!

This week has been a pretty emotional one body image wise. I got my hair cut into a fringe a while ago, regretted it and am in the current terrible phase of growing out, I’m due on and I’ve still not lost my Christmas pounds so I’m having like an identity crisis where I’m just “so fat, ugly, have shit hair” blah blah. The boyfriend has been scared to console me I’ve been that bad! So I’ve not weighed myself this week as I think sometimes it’s best to humour yourself and move along. Instead, I thought I’d share some food swaps I do when I’m dieting.

Weight Loss Wednesdays

I’ve seen this post around a few times and thought I’d get involved! I am the dreaded apple body shape, which basically means that no matter what weight I am, I will always have child like stick legs and a pot belly. Attractive, I think not. I’m at a pretty healthy weight right now but I am going to Mexico in May and I have this dream of having a flat belly for once in my life. It’s going to be hard work because my body is super stubborn when losing the last 5-10lbs (aka it’s never happened) but I am determined to give it my best shot!

Nation of Shopkeepers, good news & a mini haul

Nation of Shopkeepers

Mondays aren’t normally something to celebrate but I can hand on my heart say my Monday was amazing this week. First off, student loans came in and although all of mine goes on rent, my boyfriend has some spare so came down to treat me. You will no doubt learn throughout my blog that he is extremely well trained and actually a soppy git, although he refuses to admit it. I also confirmed that I will now be writing a running feature for new blogging subscription magazine Help Me Wear it andd writing weekly articles for The Daily Touch! So my Monday was spent floating around in a happy cloud, ignoring to the fact I am now in my last semester ever at uni, have a part time job, an internship, a job as a social media ambassador, two writing jobs and a blog. Where is Bernard’s watch when you need it?

Teatox: Worth the hype?

I’ve moved to, please check out my blog there instead!
If you have Instagram, it’s likely that you have heard ofย  the new craze Teatoxing. In case you haven’t, it’s basically herbal teas that eliminate toxins and waste from your body, and by doing so can have a whole load of benefits such as weight loss, improved digestion, clear skin, increased metabolism, reduced bloating and better sleep. Apparently, anyway. I’m not a believer in fad diets but I do believe that herbs can have a host of benefits, and after an incredibly unhealthy December, I am more than happy to see if it helps me feel less uncomfortable!

Tick Tock Wrong O’Clock

Today was the day I was going to set up a savings account. I’m pretty bad with money so figured it was a must to help the future me. I’d made an appointment with the bank and was all ready to become a pro saver, right up until I got told my appointment was at 2pm, when I had turned up at 4pm. I even had an appointment card saying 2pm and I had still thought 4pm!

This is not the first time this has happened to me. On contraire, this happens to me frequently. Here is a list of times when I have completely booked or turned up at the wrong time.
